The Despotic Reality

It's just another day with lackluster
I know its courage that I must muster.
Though I'm established and I thank God,
I feel lonely as much as it sounds odd.

Despair requests to be a friend
as love seems to shy away.
Age kept seeing this changing trend,
a perplexed life with many shades of gray

Truth is disguised under a poker face
Silence seems to be the easier grace
Search for peace leads to a mysterious maze
Chaos spoils memories of a better place

In the fight with destiny to gain wealth,
I kept sacrificing that bit of good health.
In the race to win love and breath,
I keep getting closer to death.
