The Immense Desire

I may not be the one that’s chosen
May not be the one born for you
But have you ever had the slightest notion
how my life changed the moment I saw you

From dawn to dusk, my heart misses you
yet the fear of losing you, have my words frozen
Cant forget that look when you smile at me
an expression no less than a dramatic implosion

These undying feelings that I hold back
Because of the strength to confess that I lack
I wait for you to sense my immense desire
and break this ice of silence with your fire

From this world, before I vanish
if I ever had a final wish
I want you to realise that it’s true
from the depth of my heart, that I love you

Core of the Kernel

My heart shone like the moon,
lavishly every night,
never thinking that tomorrow soon
the power of hate will rise to fight.

My heart stood rock steady,
to face the world, it was ready,
Hoping to make them all hear its beat
but only loneliness showed up to meet.

My heart gave all away for love.
Love it expected in return, nothing else
Thought it impressed with its charm
but retreated in failure to bear the harm

My heart became just a toy,
a second fiddle resort to find joy
used, abused and brutally thrown away
reducing it from a pet to stray.

My heart got played into this dirty game,
kept aiming at the skies in multiple tries
Midway it won many a fame,
but one loss equalled a thousand cries.
